Ok, let’s get this over with. Woopie. Here it is, the first post. Yadada. Yadada. Yadada. By-the-way, that’s me in the photo. Just thought I should say Hi! See my About page if you’re looking for more.
What else can you say?
I plan on writing about software development, team building, mentoring, project management, and just about anything related to software and development projects. I promise no politics, drama, or abusive behavior.
By the way, if you can’t tell if I’m serious or not, “not” is your best bet! I have been known to, on occasion, say the exact opposite of what I really mean just to keep you on your toes! My sense of humor is pretty dry and sharp. I’ll try to keep the snarkyness to a minimum.
Today’s tip: Practice listening. Whenever I’m struggling in my relationships, I try and take a little extra time and try and do a little better job of understanding exactly what the other person is trying to say. That doesn’t mean that I will (or will not) agree with them. I’m just going to give our relationship the best chance at succeeding or improving. BTW, I’ve mastered none of these tips; they are all works-in-progress!
